Doral and the town of Cayey donate housing to family in need
d hogares has donated 18 homes in Puerto Rico

The community program d hogares, through which Doral helps families in need find or keep their home, turned a father's dream into a reality.

Along with the mayor of Cayey, Hon. Ronaldo Ortiz, Doral donated a large residence to the Rivera family in the Polvorin neighborhood. Victor Rivera is a single father that has taken care of his child even with the economic difficulties he's faced. The 10-year old child, who suffers from various learning and development difficulties, has shown great improvement in his conditions thanks to the effort and tireless work of his father. The residence is one of the 18 houses that Doral has delivered to families in need in more than a dozen towns in the island.

"As a community bank, our commitment goes beyond providing financial services. Our priority is to improve the quality of life of the communities we serve. Through our program d hogares, we work along with the towns to provide a home for families in need, while contributing to urban regeneration," said Luis Peralta, svp retail banking operations.

The community program, d hogares, works through initiatives related to housing, such as providing, renovating, or keeping homes. Besides donating housing to families in need, d hogares has helped more than 30,000 families retain their homes through loan restructuring.
