The main objective of d parques: sembrando comunidad is reforesting parks in communities around the Island. A joint effort between Doral, the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources, Primera Hora and Telemundo, which has a goal set of planting 2,011 trees by the end of April 2011, Earth month.

To the moment, 16 parks have been reforested in low-income areas. In addition to the actual reforestations, educational talks have been offered on the importance maintaining parks in optimal conditions, along with financial talks on the importance of saving.
