We believe in the capacity of women in Puerto Rico. That's why in alliance with Fundación Comunitaria de Puerto Rico, Fondo Doral supports the micro-entrepreneur web of financing in Puerto Rico, growing microloan programs in nonprofit organizations.. The fund, launched this first year with $100,000 from Doral, grants $20,000 to 4 organizations for their different microloan programs for women, plus a $2,500 stipend for administrative costs. These organizations will give microloans of between $500 and $3,500.
